Curriculum

Our company provides an innovative curriculum tailored for the Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Industry. Our programs integrate time-honored aviation practices with modern UAS technology.

 

PRObundle

 

The Professional Remote Operator (PRO®) program is designed to prepare students to enter the industry and be workforce-ready. It includes in-depth training on flight techniques, safety protocols, and industry best practices. Provide your students with the expertise needed to perform complex operations and stand out in the competitive job market, where high starting salaries are typical for certified professionals. The PRO® Curriculum consists of five core courses (listed below).

Prepare your students for the FAA Part 107 exam with confidence. Our course covers all the necessary knowledge areas, including airspace regulations, weather, and flight operations. Our course features interactive lessons, practice tests, instructor resources, and support to answer your questions. With these tools, you will be well-equipped to prepare your students to pass the exam and become certified remote pilots.

Students will gain knowledge about the different components of sUAS, such as sensors, control systems, and communication technologies. This course will equip students to troubleshoot errors, align technologies with applications, and adhere to regulatory restrictions.

Coming Spring 2025!

sUAS Safety Level 2 covers routine maintenance procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and repair protocols. Practical experience with actual sUAS hardware ensures that students can keep equipment in optimal condition, culminating in a maintenance certification.

Students will learn how to develop detailed mission plans, which will include flight path planning, risk assessment, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This will involve practical exercises in mission planning and execution, leading to a certification that showcases their readiness to conduct professional UAS operations and prepares them for flight line training in Level 4.

This course covers essential flight techniques, such as manual and automated flight operations, and emphasizes the application of emergency procedures. Students gain extensive hands-on training to enhance their piloting skills and ensure the safe and efficient operation of sUAS.

Our curriculum aligns with industry-recognized standards to ensure that students gain relevant and valuable skills. We embed standards such as:

  • Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airman Certification standards
  • ASTM International training  standards for Remote Pilot In Command
  • National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) remote pilot proficiency testing standard
  • Safety and operational protocols recognized by industry leaders
